RE: 14.

Mal sehen was am Mittwoch so geht. :nerv?s:

Gr??e aus der "Senioren-Abteilung-RSL"

Achim

Viel Gl?ck,

RE: 14. Lauf zur RSL Historic F1 Championship in Monte Carlo - Antoine de Mautor - 05.09.2007 10:32 AM

Hi! I would like to participate as well if it's possible. :grinz:
I would take the Lotus 33, my PB is 1.28.101 with it.

Could somebody please translate these line to me?? :verlegen:

Renntag:5.9.2007
Start Einzel-Qualifying (!) : 21 Uhr IGOR
Rennrunden: 60
Tankstopps erlaubt
Grand Prix-Start (!)
Renndirektor: Wolfgang

Does this mean the race is TONIGHT?

Shift-r allowed only for pit-stop or either if you commit a wreck?

Thank you in advance ;)

RE: 14. Lauf zur RSL Historic F1 Championship in Monte Carlo - Canadien - 05.09.2007 10:47 AM

First and most important: Yes, the race is tonight.
Secondly: Nice lap time!:zwinker:

As for the remaining translation:
We'll have a single-run qualifying tonight. Race length is 60 laps. Pitstops for re-fueling are allowed. There will be a normal (standing) start (as opposed to an Indy start (rolling) we do on some tracks).

Our GPL admin Uwe has translated the most important rules into English, you can read up on them right here.
If further questions arise, we'll be happy to answer them.

Yes, a few more questions:
I found the password for tonight's race, but is there one for the chatroom?

About single-run qualifying, I guess the race director is saying on the chat who has to make his fast lap, no matter about that I like this formula. :zwinker:

It's a great pleasure to be running this event, I love GPL 65, and you can definitely count me in :supi:

RE: 14. Lauf zur RSL Historic F1 Championship in Monte Carlo - Canadien - 05.09.2007 11:21 AM

The chatroom's name is rsl, no password.

The part of the rules about the qualifying mode:
Quote:Each driver has exactly 3 laps on track, and only the last 2 are timed. This type of qualifying is completely controlled by the RD using the ingame chat.
In the beginning all drivers have joined the server, but are waiting outside their cars.
RD chat: "xx into the cockpit" (xx enters his car, but does not leave the pits.)
RD chat: "xx go" (xx enters the track for his warmup lap)
RD chat: "first timelap" (next lap will be first timed lap)
RD chat: "second timelap" (next lap will be second timed lap)
RD chat: "xx out please" (after having finished his current - third, and second timed - lap, xx must leave the track immediately, and should leave the car.
Please note: Driver yy, who is following xx, will get his directives ("yy into the cockpit", "yy go", ...), before xx has finished his last lap. Usually he will be advised to enter the track when xx has just entered his second timed lap.
Yes, RD means Race Director (which will be Wolfgang tonight).

Nice to have you on the grid!:supi:

Hi Antoine,

there is no password for the chatroom . You will enter it after adding a chatroom called rsl in igor .

Canadien has quoted the main part of the single-qualifiing rules and You will find them in post 1.
Please install the " Save pitstop Patch" ( backup minrace.lp in your monaco track directory and copy our patched version into it) and have a look on the shiftR rules .

Nice to have You in the grid and respect for Your great laptime !

Wolfgang.
