During our summer break we like to do some racing just for fun. This time we had something special in mind, though. We asked our members on which track they would like to do a real long-run, and they clearly voted in favour of the Ring. Driving a GTP car around this track for almost three hours has to be the ultimate challenge for any serious racer. So if you like to join us simply put a post in this thread, pick an available number and tell us what car you're gonna use. If you like to send us your individually painted GTP car you can use our contact address at the bottom of the forum. We also need your email address to inform you about our server IP and password.

Note: We are hosting this track for your convenience to make sure everyone has the correct version installed. We changed a few things to fit our needs (race length, pit area), everything else remained as intended by its original creators. Simply unrar the archive into your trackD folder (save your existing nurby folder first if you want to keep it...).

Scoring
Position: 25-20-17-15-14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 points
Consistency: 25-20-17-15-14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 points (as determined by N2k3 RA)
Points are added for the final result, with position being the deciding factor in case of a tie. Drivers with less than 18 completed laps get only half the points for consistency, with less than 13 laps there will only be points awarded for position.

Few more notes

• Pit exit is on the straight after the S?dkehre (where the grass ends). Entering the race track before that point will result in a 20s time penalty added after the race.
• Through the first corners after the start/finish straight the track is very narrow. Keep in mind that this race will definitely not be decided right after the start!
• If you had to leave the track and rejoin, be very careful and watch for traffic. You can't make up a whole lot of time with a damaged car.
• Mailed car files should not exceed 1MB in size.
• We will provide the server replay and race analysis (N2k3 RA) right here after the race.
